Thanks for your interest in Wilder Fine Arts. I, Katherine Wilder, owner of Wilder Fine Arts, am a daughter of the Porter family. The Porter Family Art is a unique Art that has been and was created by the Porter family which consisted of 3 sons and 2 daughters along with the mother and father. Each person has or had a part in the art that is signed Porter Family. Whether it’s starting a piece, working on a small portion of a piece, selling the piece, or framing the piece. Everyone’s involvement is different each time, but each piece is uniquely done involving more than one person. Porter Family Art has been and is sold all over the United States of America and also all over the world. For 25 Years the Porter Family traveled across the country selling their art to other art galleries and interior decorators before settling down in the small town of Ironwood Michigan located in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. The Porter Family Art is credited to God and his great hand in giving us the eye for the detail in the wonderful animals and beautiful land he has created. Only God is responsible for the talent of Art that we produce and hopefully we pray that as each piece is placed in each person’s home whether you bought it or got it as a gift from someone else that God’s presence would be felt and his blessing be bestowed upon you.
