White Birch Bark Basket Hand Made by Dennis Day

This is a Birch Bark Basket Hand Made By Dennis Day. It is 6 inches wide by 8 inches tall. Dennis Day is a member of the Bad River Band of Ojibwe. He built and designed this basket, making it from products gathered in the forest in old world Ojibwe tradition. THe rim is either black ash or willow and it is sewn with basswood bark. Each Basket is Hand Made one at a time using a process that has been handed down for generations.
